Delivery Times
We will process your order within 3 business days, however if your order is placed after 12:00pm AEST your order will begin processing the following business day. If there are any issues filling your order e.g. items need to be ordered, or items have been discontinued, we will notify you during this period.
Items marked as 5-7 days or 14-16 days take extra time to assemble and/or organise from various warehouses. Your order is expected to be dispatched via your preferred shipping method once the indicated period has passed.
Items marked Special Order can take 6-14 weeks to be received at our warehouse and will be dispatched once they have landed.
Once your order has been shipped, you will be notified via email. Delivery times are indicated below and vary depending on the delivery service selected. 3) Pickup
You will be notified via email when your goods are ready for collection
Pickups can be collected from Shop 25 Homeworld, 502 Hope Island Rd, Helensvale QLD 4212.
Lost Goods
The online team at Lighting Superstore will do their best to recover any lost items, however should Australia Post or the nominated courier note that your items have been delivered we will be unable to offer any further assistance.
PO Boxes
In some cases orders cannot be delivered to post office boxes or postal lockers, if this is the case you will be contacted within 24 hours of placing your order to arrange an alternative delivery address.
Remote deliveries
If you live in a remote location, under certain circumstances the courier company may deliver to a recognised collection point or depot in the nearest main town. Many of our remote customers prefer this option to having the order delivered to their door - if so, please leave us a note in the comments of your order with specific delivery instructions.
International deliveries
Some items are unable to be shipped internationally and extended shipping times can occur. Please contact us for further information if you require and item to be shipped internationally.
Please note we are unable to replace any lost or damaged goods when shipping internationally. Any taxes incurred upon entry to destination is the responsibility of the customer.
By agreeing to have your order shipped overseas, you have effectively voided any warranty, and the ability to make any warranty claims, as of order date. Specifically, no refunds will be available, nor will any claim for a refund be recognised by The Lighting Superstore.
Phone Orders
We are more then happy to process your order over the phone, however please note we do not offer free shipping for phone orders.
For security reasons in terms of payment, as well as order and address confirmation, placing your order online through the website is preferable.
Shipping Signature or ATL
ATL - Authority to leave
Please note should you select the Authority to Leave option you are giving the courier permission to leave the goods without signature. By selecting this option you are stating you understand that should the goods become damaged or go missing once delivered, The Lighting Superstore is unable to accept responsibility.
When selecting our standard shipping method you may be required to collect your goods from the allocated collection depot assigned the courier, please note the method used to deliver your goods will depend on their size. If are unwilling or unable to collect your order from the depot, you may incur a re-delivery fee.

Warranties & Returns
30 Day Returns via Online
We understand that choosing your lighting can be difficult at times, so we offer several 30 day return options. Please note options do not exclude or replace your statutory rights given under the Australian Consumer Law and Regulations ACT 2010.You may receive a refund* or exchange^ for change of mind provided the following conditions are met:
- Online order confirmation email or tax invoice can be provided.
- Items are in original condition including all packaging, paperwork and accessories.
- Items such as pendants must not have been installed or used.
- The item is returned to us within the 30 days after receiving/collecting it.
- Items excluded from 30 Day Returns are the following:Special order items or item variations not listed on our website and sourced from one of our helpful team members.
- Custom-made orders.Display items.Please note:^Store credit or exchange amounts will be equal to the price you paid for the product, less shipping charges (including shipping cost incurred by us on Free Shipping orders).
- *Refunds will incur a 20% Restocking Fee, and exclude shipping and handling costs.
- If your goods were shipped with our free shipping promotion the postage amount incurred by Lighting Superstore will be deducted from the credit, exchange or refund amount.

30 Day Returns via Store
- Items purchased online can be returned in-store for an exchange, credit or refund with proof of purchase.
- Our store team member will assess the items and determine whether an exchange will be offered in accordance with our Return Policy.
- Exchanges and credit amounts will be less original postage/insurance costs.
- Refund amounts will be less a 20% Restocking Fee and original postage/insurance costs.
- If your goods were shipped with our Free Shipping promotion, the postage amount incurred by Lighting Superstore will be deducted from the credit.

Short-Supplied or Damaged Goods
- If your goods arrive damaged or short-supplied please contact us at onlinesales@lightingss.com.au with photo evidence within 48 hours of receiving the goods, and we will arrange a replacement item or part to be sent out as soon as possible.
- We may need selected items back regardless of their condition and will require your cooperation in their collection via our nominated courier.
Warranty
- Items that do not require installation by an electrician have minimum 12 Month back to base warranty (excluding light globes). You are entitled to a refund or exchange for faulty items, however the costs associated with a claim (i.e freight and or postage) are to be absorbed by the customer. We will require faulty goods to be returned to store before any refund or exchange can be issued.
- For warranties on items that require installation by a qualified electrician please contact us for further information before having the item uninstalled.
International Warranty and Returns
- By agreeing to have your order shipped overseas, you have effectively voided any warranty, and the ability to make any warranty claims, as of order date.
